TPREF’s Build-to-Hold strategy will target projects in urban centers across Canada and the United States which show increasing demand and long-term sustainability.  TPREF is a unique offering to investors allowing them to increase their exposure to ground-up development and long-term asset management (direct ownership – income-producing), normally unavailable without substantially higher minimums. TPREF will be made available in September 2021.  It is best suited for clients with a long-term horizon – typically five years or more, given the nature of the asset class and fund terms


Building on the success of Trez Opportunity Funds (TOFs) I through V, Trez Capital is now opening its private equity offering to the broader public. TPREF will offer access to partnerships with world-class real estate developers in addition to the sophisticated platform that has made Trez Capital a reputable name in the Canadian investment landscape

Trez Capital Private Real Estate Fund Trust – This is a private equity real estate fund. It has a broad mandate to invest as an equity partner in real estate projects, with a focus on building and holding cash-flowing properties. It has an inception year of 2021.

Trez Capital Prime Trust – This is the company's most conservative mandate. The fund must be 100% invested in first mortgages with each mortgage having a loan to value of 75% or less at the time of origination. There is a maximum allocation of 50% to US loans. This fund has the inception year of 2006.

Trez Capital Yield Trust – This is Trez's flagship and largest fund. It has an open mandate with a combination of first, second, and subsequently ranking Canadian and U.S. mortgages. This fund has the inception year of 2009.

Trez Capital Yield Trust U.S. (CAD$) – This is the company's U.S.- only mortgage fund, fully hedged back to the Canadian dollar. This fund contains loans originated in Texas, Florida, and Atlanta. It has the inception year of 2015.

Trez Capital Yield Trust U.S. – This is their U.S. mandate in U.S. dollars. It has the inception year of 2013.
